Course Objectives:
The student through independent practical work master the methods of paleontological research - collecting the fossil flora of a particular group of plants and laboratory methods of preparation of this kind of fossil material for paleontological analysis.
Learning Outcomes:
Student acquires knowledge and skills in collecting, determining and describing a particular group of fossil organisms; their stratigraphic and paleoecological characteristics and significance.
Content:

Theory teaching
Methods of collection and laboratory methods of preparation for paleontological analysis of certain groups of fossil organisms that will be subject of graduation work, conservation of palaeontological material, biostratigraphic and paleoecological characteristics of certain groups of fossil organisms.

Practical teaching
Students independent work in the laboratory on the preparation of fossil material of a certain group of fossil organisms for paleontological analysis.
