Course Objectives: Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge related to planning of sampling, retrieval, processing and analysis of sample classification and records of mineral reserves, the exploitation of exploration, additional exploration, as well as calculation of mineral reserves. |
Learning Outcomes: Mastering the theoretical and practical knowledge related to the mining and geological practice or planning of sampling, retrieval, processing and analysis of sample classification and records of mineral reserves, the exploitation of exploration, additional exploration, as well as calculation of mineral reserves. |
Content:
Theory teaching The notion and importance of mining geology. Mining and geological service. Additional exploration and exploitation exploration. The process of sampling. Planning of sampling. Methods of sampling. Sampling, sample handling and analysis. Processing, interpretation and use of the results of sampling. Control of the whole sampling process and control sampling. Network of sampling. Network density and distance between the sample. Experimental sampling. Limit parameters / condition. Geotechnical and hydrogeological conditions for exploitation of deposits; Accuracy of the reserve calculation. Errors and probability. Analog errors; accidental and systematic errors. Methods of calculation of reserves, Errors of the method of calculation of reserves; Correction coefficients. Classification and record keeping of mineral reserve; Practical teaching Active processing of case analyzes and practicing of the subject matter through special practical calculus and graphic exercises on examples of mine-geological practice at the deposits of metallic, non-metallic, energetic and technogenic mineral raw materials, then presentation of seminar papers and checking the acquired knowledge through tests / colloquiums. |
