Course Objectives: Acquiring knowledge about management and marketing of mineral resources, management principles, marketing principles, managerial tools, economic instruments, marketing tools and managerial decision making in the mineral sector. |
Learning Outcomes: Mastering the general and specific knowledge in the field of management and marketing of geological research and management and marketing of mineral resources. |
Content:
Theory teaching Introduction to the management and marketing of mineral resources. Management, marketing and minerals-raw materials complex. Mineral resources and geology, mining, metallurgy and business processes. Mineral-raw materials policy, management and marketing of mineral resources. Geological exploration and potentiality of the mineral-raw material base. Mining industry and mineral resources. Technology and mineral resources. The impact of mineral resources on the environment. Mineral resources of the world. Mineral resources of Serbia. Legislation and mineral resources. Economic instruments and mineral resources. Information systems and mineral resources manager. Mineral resources, management functions and managerial decision making. Practical teaching Active processing of case analyzes and consideration of subject matter on examples of management and marketing of mineral resources, then presentation of seminar papers and verification of acquired knowledge through tests / colloquiums. |
