Prof. Meri Ganić
Status: Compulsory
ECTS: 5
Prerequisites: -
Course Objectives:
Detailed introduction to basic structural-tectonic units of the Carpatho-Balkanides, exploring the lithostratigraphic characteristics of those units.
Learning Outcomes:
After mastering the course, the student should be familiar with the main characteristics of lithostratigraphic units Carpatho-Balkanides of Serbia.
Content:

Theory teaching
The study of paleogeographic and stratigraphic features in the Carpatho-Balkanides, comes down to a detailed description of the main structural-facial zones and their mutual relations. Any structural-tectonic units shown through historical and geological development, starting with the Precambrian to the youngest sections.
