Course Objectives: This class will cover the detailed knowledge on Mesozoic fossils from the territory of Serbia, the living environments and paleoecological characteristics. |
Learning Outcomes: Ability to understand the way of life and evolution of mesozoic fauna, as well as the Mesosoic living environments. |
Content:
Theory teaching Evolution, paleoecology and paleobiogeography of the Mesozoic oceanic biota. Mesozoic Tethyan paleocommunity dynamics (fossils and paleoenvironments of the Tethyan domain). Practical teaching Practical work on selected fossil collection. |
