Content:
Theory teaching Selection and preparation of samples for optics and testing by other methods (testing of inclusions). Multispectral study of the microscopic image of ore minerals in optical mineralogy. Morphology of crystals and mutual relations at the grain boundaries of various minerals. Replacements. Exsolutions. Twinning. Occurrence of colomorphic structures and growth zones. Study of fluid inclusions. The conditions of ore formation and the application of equilibrium phases. Mineral parageneses associated with magmatic rocks and vein deposits. Mineral parageneses associated with sedimentary, volcanic and metamorphic rocks and meteorites. Application of mineralogy of ore minerals in mineral technology. Practical teaching Laboratory exercises are performed according to the teaching units shown |
