Engineering Geological Models

Course Objectives:
The goals of course are training of students on research activities and practical solution in engineering modelling related to PhD thesis activities
Learning Outcomes:
Training of students for sophisticated procedure of analysis and correlations from theory to practice, interpretation of research results of the area of interest and modelling
Content:

Theory teaching
1. Introduction and fundamentals 2. Geological - environmental model 3. Basic principles in modelling 4. Parameters 5. Basic principles of parameter analysis and modelling 6. Classifications and categorization 7. Quantification of the modelling results 8. Model verification and validation 9. Model certainty 10. Theory of bias and frauds
