Study program:
Geotechnics (X semester -MsC) |
Name of subject: Regional Engineering Geology |
Instructors:
Prof. Biljana Abolmasov |
Status: Compulsory |
ECTS: 2 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: Acquiring basic knowledge on natural rock stress state, redistribution of stress around engineering or mining underground and ground objects, causes of underground pressures, as well as their measurement and control. |
Learning Outcomes: Familiarizing with the importance of the rock mechanics and enabling the students to apply acquired knowledge in geotechnical investigations for design, construction and exploitation of objects. |
