Course Objectives: Acquiring basic knowledge on natural and geological hazards, methodology of their assessment, possibilities and limitations of their modeling, and prevention and protection methods. |
Learning Outcomes: Enabling the students for independent and holistic research and assessment of geological hazards, application of methodology in spatial and urban planning context, as well as in design and construction. |
Content:
Theory teaching Basic terms and definitions, theoretical background; Geological-natural environment, natural-geological hazards; Socioeconomic aspects of natural and geological hazards; Classification of geological hazards, Basic principles of geological hazard research, Methods of geological hazard analysis; Methods of geological hazard assessment; Specificity of geological hazard research. Geological hazards and vulnerability in Serbia; Practical examples; Legislative regulations and practice Practical teaching Practical teaching-exercising follow the curriculum and related teaching units, and take place during the exercising classes |
