Introducing students with basic principles of geotechnical investigations, different levels in project’s design and methods of geotechnical engineering.

Practical teaching
Field visit - visiting locations where students get to see practical geotechnical envestigations: - visiting field with subsurface investigations (drilling) and geotechnical field tests (SPT, CPT, VST); - visiting field with excavation for foundation of buildings, - visiting field with intensive some of engineering-geological processes (terrain subsidence, weathering, erosion, landsliding, rock slumps, etc.).
