Learning Outcomes: After taking this course, students will be trained to solve problems related to signal processing in Geophysics. |

Theory teaching 1.Fourier Series. 2.Convergence Criterion. 3. Fourier Integral. 4.Fourier Transformation and Inverse Fourier Transformation. 5. Fourier Sinus and Cosinus Transformation. 6.Convolution. 7.Discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and Discrete-time Fourier transform (DTFT). 8.Parseval’s Theorem. 9.Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT). 10.Z – Transformation. 11. Inverse Z – Transformation. 12.Signal filters. 13.Window Functions. 14. Wavelets. Practical teaching Practical problems in domains covered by theoretical knowledge. |
