Designing in Hydrogeology

Prerequisites: General Geology, Hydrogeology, General Hydrology, Hydraulics, Hydrogeological Mapping, Historical Geology
Course Objectives:
Course goal: Introduction into basic principles and concepts of project designs of scientific and professional experiments in field of hydrogeology for the sake of the exploration of the Earth crust, groundwater resources development, the groundwater reserves valorization, preparation activities for design of optimal exploitation methods and resource protection as well. Educational contribution: skills developing as induction cogitation in case of complex results interpretation of the previous geological and hydrogeological investigation, prognosis hydrogeological model building as a scientific hypothesis that need to be confirm by doing exact field activities, building the engineering approach to problem resolving.
Learning Outcomes:
To become qualified for project designs in the field of hydrogeology investigation, groundwater resource exploitation and groundwater resource protection.
Content:

Theory teaching
Definition and type of project designes, Legislation and crtiteria for Designing in Hydrogeology, Technical and technological phases for project designes, Compilation of the Project on hydrogeological investigation, Technical documentation in project design process, Project management basics in Hydrogeology, International projects.

Conduct of the Course:
Compilation of the orally teaching, slide projection with practical examples, introduction in real filed problematics. Knowledge level confirmation based on independent project realisation on previous assignment. All exercises tasks are predict to be accomplished during the class except additional learning.
