Course Objectives:
Theoretical and practical training in dealing with the research topics which include the conditions of formation, existence and renewal of mineral waters as well as their multi-purpose exploitation.
Learning Outcomes:
Dealing with a variety of regional as well as specific research in the domain of mineral waters.
Content:

Theory teaching
Introduction, History of the development and knowledge of mineral waters, Definition and criteria for the extraction of mineral waters, Origin of mineral waters and its theories, Types of hydrogeological structures important for the formation and exploitation of mineral waters, Conditions and processes of mineral water formation , Conditions and forms of occurrences, propagation laws, etc., Basic indicators of physical properties and chemical composition of mineral waters, Classification of mineral waters, Specificity in methodology of research, Specificity of their regime, Specificity in determining reserves, Specificity of the mineral water acquisition and their capture, Enviromental protecion of mineral waters, Possibilities of multipurpose use, Practical examples regarding the opening and protection of mineral water deposits in different hydrogeological conditions and structures.

Conduct of the Course:
Interactive teaching, the latest findings and information regarding the research in the field, writing of a specific teaching "guide", oral interpretation of a particular chapter based on a scientific dialogue, demonstration exercise on a particular topic from the program, (demonstration-practical examples, software, documentation), application-solving tasks, field teaching.
