Learning Outcomes: Accepted theoretical knowledge and created sense for pratical engineering approach in analyses of actual water situation, opportunities and optimization of technical solutions in water supply. |
Content:
Theory teaching History of water supply. Water resources and selection criteria - the role and importance of groundwater. Water needs, specific consumption, losses, world experiences. Groundwater bodies - classification, characterization and specific research. Technical solutions for water supply, facilities in various locations. Basics of regulation issued for regime correction. Artificial infiltration, objects and system maintenance, advantages and disadvantages. Use of surface waters for water supply. Normative, conservation and quality improvement of drinking water. Water supply system facilities, water supply infrastructure. Examples of built solutions and water systems in the world and in our country. |

Conduct of the Course: The combination of oral exposure and PPS pre-prepared presentations. Permanent check of knowledge from previous material. All teaching obligations end in hours, except for additional learning for the exam and preparation of the colloquium. Exercise part of field teaching within professional joint subjects. |
