Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to introduce differential and linear equations of higher order, multiple curvature and surface integrals, thus gaining theoretical foundations necessary for understanding professional subjects. |
Learning Outcomes: The result of the course is acquisition of knowledge in mathematics, necessary for further attending and understanding of professional subjects, professional work and research activity. |
Content:
Theory teaching Systems of Differential Equations. The first integral. Systems of linear equations of the first order with constant coefficients. Multiple, curvilinear and surface integrals. Double integrals. Triple integrals. The curvilinear integrals of the first and second types. Surface integral of the first and second types. Series. Numerical series, basic terms and theorems. Laplace transformation. Elements of vector analysis and field theory. Partial differential equations. Practical teaching Any subject of the theoretical part of the course will be followed by solving of the selected problems. |
