Mine Surveying 2

Study program:
Mine Surveying (IX semester -MsC)
Name of subject: Mine Surveying 2
Instructors:
Prof. Aleksandar Ganić
Status: Compulsory
ECTS: 6
Prerequisites: Mine Surveying 1
Course Objectives:
Introduction of students with mine surveying problems at mines with underground exploitation and on surface mines.
Learning Outcomes:
Training students to independently solve the most diverse tasks that occur on mines with underground exploitation, as well as on surface mines.
Content:

Theory teaching
Basic concepts in setting-out mining objects. setting-out the center and axes of shafts. Control of shaft design. Measuring works in setting-out the exporting machine and tower. Measuring works in setting-out the mine in the curve. Measures in the preparation areas and large-scale excavations. Measurement of underground chambers. Measurement of mine wells. Measuring cross-section profiles of mine chambers. Connecting traverses to mine levels and interlevels. Measurement on surface mines. Benches measurment of surface mines. Determination of areas and volumes of mining operations done. Measurements when observing the stability of the benches on the surface mines. Mine surveying observations of the periphery of the excavation and waste dumps, observation of the bench marks on the profile lines, measurement of absolute values of displacement, analytical processing of the results of the measurement. Measuring devices for moving belt conveyors. Complete and partial geometric-constructive control of excavators.

Practical teaching
The quality of the graphic base. Corrections for graphical error reading of coordinates of points, lengths and angles from the plan. Scale selection of plan. Calculating the elements for setting out the center of the sfaht and sfaht axis. Setting out. Calculation of the elements for setting out and setting out of the administrative building of the mine. Calculating the elements for setting out the mine in the curve. Traverse on banches, traverses with indirect length determination, traverses with determining the coordinates of points by intersection, rectangular nets, profile lines. Measurements on surface mines. Determination of areas by analytical, graphical, mechanical means. Determination of the volume of excavated masses using horizontal and vertical cross sections, using a square mesh, determining the volume of the geometric figures. Observation of the benchmark for profile lines, measurement of absolute displacement values, analytical processing of measurement results. Partial and complete geometric-constructive control of excavators.
