Content:

Theory teaching
Introduction to the course, concept of teaching and exams, Classification of machines and devices for transport in surface mining, general about transportation in surface mining, Prerequisites for the application and selection of transport means. Railway transport in surface mining - application area. Railway lines (sub-ballast, sleepers and rails). Mining wagons - basic parameters of wagons, types of wagons and constructive schemes, basic construction of wagons (transport device, supports, support frame, braking system, joining systems, etc.). Locomotives - general about locomotives, classification, basic types and parameters of locomotives, power motors, power transmission systems, braking systems. Electric locomotives - mechanical equipment, electrical equipment (types of electric traction motors, characteristics, power transmission, auxiliary equipment, traction force, braking force, motor locomotives - mechanical equipment, drive motors, power transmission, auxiliary equipment, traction and brake force determination. railways and rail transport means Truck transport in surface mining - field of truck transport, roads, classification, types of trucks, engines (cylinders, pistons, valves, etc.), power transmission, bearing ram, traction, front axle, rear axle, steering mechanism, braking mechanism, auxiliary mechanisms, traction and brake force detection Truck maintenance Transport with conveyor belts, application areas and belt conveyors systems, Advantages and disadvantages, Loading and transfer devices (design, calculation, selection), rollers and drums, (design, calculation, selection). The structure, components of the conveyor belt - rubber belt, (types, construction, joining, assembly, selection). Drive station, return station, drives, conveyor start, conveyor braking, cleaning devices, tensile devices. Maintenance of the conveyor belt. Other types of transport in surface mining, Hydraulic transport, Cable cars, etc.
