Course Objectives:
Based on raw geological data of mineral deposit students should make:
Selection of proper mining method,
mining method design,
selection of equipment,
determine technological and economical parameters of excavation and prove feasibility. |
Learning Outcomes:
Students should have idea of possible excavation methods based on geological information about mineral deposit. |
Content:
Theory teaching
Introduction.
Design and span selection of primary development openings.
Design and span selection of secondary development openings.
Technological and economical parameters of underground excavation.
Organization of mining activities.
Production planning.
Equipment selection.
Draw theory of caved rock mass.
Caveability assessment.
Underground excavation of veins.
Underground excavation of inclined tabular ore bodies.
Assessment of feasibility of underground exploitation. Practical teaching
Design of underground mine and solving of related problems based on raw geological data. |
