Surface Mining of Mineral Deposits (VII semester -BsC)

Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to teach and enable students to develop the necessary knowledge to independently create a plan and method of solving specific problems in mining.
Learning Outcomes:
The student should be able to independently analyze the results, create a technical project report, define and solve a particular problem.
Content:

Theory teaching
Introduction to integral procedures and analysis methods, application of existing models on real mining problems. Presentation and analysis of the results of engineering analysis with conclusions defining and expert solutions suggestions.

Practical teaching
Students solve problems related to Surface Mining in form of individual mining project and with usage of appropriate software tools.
