Course Objectives: The objective of the course is to introduce modern concept to the students of managing the process of development and production of oil and gas reservoirs, with basic and specific characteristics of management issues and detailed study of all elements and approach to the reservoir management process applied in the world and in our country. By studying numerous practical examples, students are enabled to understand the comprehensiveness and importance of integrated management of reservoirs from the technical, technological, economic and environmental aspects that will enable them to solve real problems of managing oil and gas reservoirs in practice. |

Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, the student can understand, analyze and define: objectives, planning, implementation and assessment of the oil and gas reservoir management process. Students are trained to analyze and define the basic elements of the oil and gas deposit management plan: the strategy of development and exploitation; hydrocarbon fluid reservoir data, integrated reservoir modeling, reserve estimates, production forecast, optimal equipment choice, economic evaluation of investment projects in the process of management of petroleum reservoirs and risk analysis. |
