Study program:
Petroleum Engineering (V semester -BsC) |
Name of subject: Physics of Fluid Reservoirs |
Instructors:
Prof. Vesna Karović-Maričić, Lola Tomić |
Status: Compulsory |
ECTS: 5 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: Introduction to basic concept of petroleum geology and concept of petroleum reservoir physics. Petrophysical characteristics of the reservoir rock with laboratory methods for determining these reservoir rock characteristics. Physical and chemical characteristics of reservoirs fluids (oil, gas, reservoir water) and petroleum phase transformation in variable pressure and temperature conditions. PVT analysis and analytical methods for determining the characteristics of petroleum reservoir fluids. |
Learning Outcomes: Ability to solve problems in the field of petrophysics, reservoir fluid characteristics and problems related to fluid flow in porous media under different conditions |
