Course Objectives: Acquiring basic knowledge in the following issues of oil and gas reservoir engineering: reservoir fluid dynamics, testing of oil and gas wells and reservoirs, Oil and gas reserves( classification and categorization, methods of estimate of original oil and gas in place and recoverable reserve). |
Learning Outcomes: The ability to solve problems in the area of reservoir fluid dynamics, testing of oil and gas wells and reservoirs, estimate of hydrocarbon fluid reserves. |
Content:
Theory teaching Lectures: Fundamentals of methodology and technology of oil and gas reservoirs development. Laws of fluid flow in oil and gas reservoirs. Methods of testing of oil and gas wells and reservoirs. Methods for determining hydrocarbon fluid reserves with classifications and categorizations. Practical teaching Exercise: Solving problems, tests and assignments in area oil and gas reservoir engineering: fluid flow in oil and gas reservoirs, methods of testing of oil and gas wells and reservoirs, methods for estimate of hydrocarbon fluid reserves with classifications and categorizations. |
