Course Objectives: Introduction of students in: role of planning, types of plans, planning techniques, also with the techniques of assessing the feasibility of projects and environmental processes. Acquisition of knowledge on investment technical documentation on the basis of which the protection processes are carried out. |
Learning Outcomes: Environmental Engineer educated and familiar with: planning processes . Also acquainted with criteria and techniques on the basis of which environmental protection projects are evaluated. |
Content:
Theory teaching Basic concepts of planning. Space, time, types of operations - their role and importance in the process of planning. Principles and techniques of planning. Static and dynamic plans.
Basis of theory of sustainable development. Application of microeconomic theories in planning the protection process.. Time concept of treating money values, DCF methods, application and domains, B/C analysis , NPV methods, application domains, IRR method, application domains.
PVR method, domains, application, advantages and disadvantages. Comparison of the results obtained with the application of NPV, IRR and PVR methods, conflicting outputs and situations. Risk analysis. Practical teaching Essay, calculating practice |
