Course Objectives:
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge about methods, technical means and systems of exploration of deposits of solid mineral raw materials, designing operations and documenting research of various morphogenetic types of mineralisation. |

Content:
Theory teaching
Exploration of mineral deposits, basic geological parameters of deposit, principles and phases of exploration, principles and methods to delineate the deposit. Exploration patterns, technical means and exploration systems. Geological structures and morphology of mineral deposits. Structural shapes and dimensions of deposits. Preparation of project and project of exploration of mineral deposit. Documentation of exploration works and exploration. Exploration of selected morphogenetic types of mineral deposits. Practical teaching
Graphical representation of shape, dimensions and position of ore bodies within different morphogenetic types of deposits. Projecting of exploration within concrete morphogenetic types of mineralisation and deposits. |
