Course Objectives: Introduction to basic terms of mine hydrogeology, the concept of mine waters, their influence on the exploitation of mineral resources, chemical composition and environmental impact. |
Learning Outcomes: Acquiring basic knowledge about mine waters and protection measures from the inflow of groundwater into mine works. |
Content:
Theory teaching Concept and tasks of mine hydrogeology. Concept, classification and exploitation of mineral deposits. Chemistry of mine waters. Mine waters and environmental protection. Forecast of the mine water inflow. Basics of drainage of mining works. Groundwater of oil and gas deposits. |
