Course Objectives: Developing an interdisciplinary approach to technological and engineering problems related to energetics. Familiarization with renewable and non-renewable energy sources, their general characteristics, reserves, methods of usage, etc. Education about energy transformations, efficiency, environmental and economic parameters. Introduction with preparation and interpretation of an energy balance for various consumers. |
