Learning Outcomes: Acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of modern metrology. Understanding the basic physical principles of the realization of the measurement standards of physical quantities. Mastering modern methods and means of measurement. |
Content:
Theory teaching Basic concepts and equations of scientific metrology; Measuring uncertainty; Measurement results accuracy and reliability; Directive relating to measuring units and measures; Technical characteristics of transducers and measuring instruments; Classification and physical principles of measuring transducers operation. Practical teaching Examples of measuring transducers and sensors in practical applications. Practical exercises that follow the contents of theoretical lessons. |
