Study program:
Mining Engineering (III semester -PhD) |
Name of subject: Theoretical Principles of Grinding and Screening |
Instructors:
Prof. Predrag Lazić |
Status: Optional |
ECTS: 10 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: The aim of this course is the study of theoretical principles of grinding and classification. Detailed knowledge of the machines and devices for crushing and screening and selection and calculation thereof. |
Learning Outcomes: PhD students will master the methods of analysis and problem solving in the field of grinding and classification. |
Content:
Theory teaching Theoretical principles of crushing, the analysis of the forces acting in crushers and the effects of the characteristics of the mineral raw material on the selection of crushers will be studied within the theoretical teaching of this subject. Also, an analysis of the work of mills (motion of melting bodies of grinding kinetics, etc.) and the influence of mineral raw material on grinding will be done. Energy consumption in grinding. Theoretical principles of classification as well as the problems that arise in this field. Crushers, mills devices for classification. Detailed study of the working principle and the impact of certain factors on the operation of these devices. Learning how to optimize the performance of these devices. Practical teaching Appropriate experimental and scientific research work related to the topic of doctoral studies. |
