Theory teaching The magnetic moment, magnetic moment of electrons, magnetic moment of electron spin, magnetic domain; ferromagnetic materials, antiferromagnetic materials, ferrimagnetic materials, paramagnetic materials, diamagnetic materials. Magnetic properties of minerals: susceptibility, permeability, magnetization, induction. Dependence of magnetic properties from induction of external magnetic field; hysteresis. Dependence of magnetic mineral properties from particle size; demagnetization, factor of demagnetization. Change of magnetic properties of the minerals in heating. Magnetic field: homogeneous, unhomogeneous, high-gradient. Magnetic forces, magnetic forces of attraction. Zone of separation in magnetic separators: the forces which acts on particle with diferrent magnetic properties in the separation zone. High-gradient and super-conducting magnetic systems. Magnetic flocculation. Conductivity of conductor and semiconductor. Dielectric permeability. Electric field: homogeneous, unhomogeneous, field of corona discharging. Force fields, electric forces of attraction: electrostatic and ponderomotive force. Behavior of conductors and unconductors in electric field. Electrify of particle: by taching, friction, corona, heating. The possibility of increasing the difference in electrophysic characteristics of mineral components. Zone of separation in electric separator: the forces acted on particle of different electrical conductivity in separation zone of electric separator. Practical teaching The appropriate scientific and experimental work in the field of magnetic and electric concentration of mineral or secondary raw materials that are the subject of the student investigation within the PhD dissertations. |
