Course Objectives: The purpose of the course is to introduce PhD students to new technologies and their applications in modern geodetic devices and measuring systems as well as software packages for acquisition, processing and presentation of data that accompany these instruments. |
Learning Outcomes: The ability of candidates to propose and implement alternative solutions to geodetic and metering problems on mines, which are more ergonomic, better and more precise in comparison to conventional solutions. |
Content:
Theory teaching Introduction. Robotized total stations. Smart stations (total station + GPS). GNSS / GPS systems. GNSS geodetic systems and reference networks. GPS receivers for GIS data collection and mobile GIS. 3D laser scanners. LiDAR technology. 3D laser rangefinders. Monitoring sensors and software for monitoring the movement and / or snapping of natural and artificial objects. Aero sensors and cameras. Locators of underground installations. Construction line lasers, pipe laying lasers, laser control machines. Systems for automation of construction and mining machines. Software packages for the acquisition, processing and presentation of data. |
