Study program:
Mining Engineering (IV semester -PhD) |
Name of subject: Selected Topics in Design and Production of Oil and Gas Wells |
Instructors:
Prof. Branko Leković |
Status: Optional |
ECTS: 10 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: Course aims is the acquisition of professional competencies in specific areas of the design and drilling of deep oil and gas wells, and also competence in higher vocational education. |
Learning Outcomes: After completing the course, students should know the structure of the process of planning and drilling wells. On the basis of the given well data they can make a design of borehole construction, drilling tools, casing, type and hydraulic of drilling fluid. |
Content:
Theory teaching Optimization of technical and technological elements of designing and drilling of oil and gas wells, such as: depth of casing,, well construction, the drilling parameters and the selection of the type of the drilling rig. Practical teaching Calculation: the depth of intermediate casing, the type of the casing string, casing cementing, well control equipment, drilling tools, drilling parameters. |
