Study program:
Geotechnics (II semester -PhD) Mining Engineering (IV semester -PhD) |
Name of subject: Fracture Criteria and Classification of Rock Material |
Instructors:
Prof. Vladimir Čebašek, Prof. Veljko Rupar |
Status: Optional |
ECTS: 10 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: Extension of already acquired, both theoretical and practical, knowledge in geotechnical design problems, construction and use of various surface and underground engineering facilities. |
Learning Outcomes: Theoretical and practical training of students for independent solving of the most complex geotechnical design problems, construction and use of various surface and underground engineering facilities. |
Content:
Theory teaching The course content defines the mentor for each student separately, depending on the topic of the doctoral thesis in the following disciplines: laboratory and "in situ" tests of the rock mass properties and condition, slope stability, underground objects stability, stability of objects founded on the rock material. Practical teaching Preparation of seminar papers, solving practical problems using modern methodological approaches, using appropriate software packages. |
