Course Objectives: Acquainting with theoretical aspects and the application of multi-criteria decision making methods (MCDM) in mining engineering. |
Learning Outcomes: Student is trained for use of MCDM methods in mining engineering. |
Content:
Theory teaching Principles and theory behind multicriteria decision making (MCDM). Decision making support systems. Theory and application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process method (AHP). Theory and application of the PROMETHEE method. Theory and application of the ELECTRE method. Theory and application of the VIKOR method. Theory and application of the TOPSIS method. Examples of MCDM methods application in mining engineering. Practical teaching Practical examples. |
