CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr Petar Dokmanovic was born in 1963 in Belgrade.
He graduated at the Faculty of Mining and Geology - Department of Hydrogeology (University in Belgrade) in 1988.
Master and doctoral studies, also, finished at Faculty of Mining and Geology - Department of Hydrogeology. In 1997, obtained Phd degree by doctoral thesis "Hydrogeological properties of Tertiary basins in Serbia, southern of Sava and Danube".
He is employed at FMG - Department of Hydrogeology since 1989, passing through university degrees from Assistant to Associate Professor. Last nomination was in 2008 - Associate Professor for the scientific area "Groundwater tapping structures and engineering"
Till 2009., Petar Dokmanovic published 66 articles and 1 monograph "Hydrogeology of Tertiary basins of Serbia" (1999).
Participation in significant projects and studies:
- "Exploration and assessing of sustainability and integrative use of hydrogeological resources - ecologic, economic and energetic importance for sustainable development of Serbia" (2002.-2005.) - supported by Ministry for science of Serbia
- "National program for protection and controlled exploitation of groundwater" (2004-2007) - Ministry for science and Ministry for agriculture, forestry and water management of Serbia
- "Exploration, optimal use and sustainable management of groundwater resources in Serbia" (2006.-2011.) - Ministry for environmental protection and Ministry for agriculture, forestry and water management of Serbia
- "Optimization of energetic use of subgeothermal groundwater resources" (2008.-2010), Ministry for science of Serbia
Author or participant of several projects, study, reports, expertise and revision in the field of groundwater exploration, use and protection.
He is a member of :
International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and its Serbian National committee.
Serbian geological society (SGD) and (since 2005) President of its Hydrogeology Section.
