Basics of Geodesy

Course Description

Study program: Geology (III semester -OAS), Geophysics (III semester -OAS), Geotechnics (V semester -OAS)

Name of subject: Basics of Geodesy

Instructors: Dr Aleksandar Milutinović

Status: Optional

Prerequisites: -

Course Objectives: Introduction to the student with classical and modern geodetic technologies, geodetic instruments and methods for determining spatial coordinates of points on the earth’s surface, using spatial coordinates over 2D and 3D analog and digital plans and maps.

Learning Outcomes: Acquiring basic concepts about measuring, creating and using analog and digital geodetic maps.
