Course Objectives:
Acquiring general knowledge about the importance of geological heritage and the training of personnel for professional geoheritage jobs.
Learning Outcomes:
After mastering the course, the student should be familiar with the general concepts of the geological heritage of Serbia, the evaluation object fields of economy, culture and science.
Content:

Theory teaching
The concept and importance of geological heritage, the historical development of the idea of ​​geological heritage in Europe and Serbia. The relationship between geodiversity and geological heritage. The criteria and generally accepted standards for defining and separating the objects of the geological heritage. The methodology of research facilities, the criteria for evaluation of geological heritage in our country and in the world. Interpretation of the objects of the geological heritage on geological maps and project documentation. Geoheritage as cultural heritage. Geoheritage and Tourism. The concept of geological heritage in Serbia, legal aspects and legal frameworks. Building protection of geological heritage.

Practical teaching
Introducing the many important objects of geodiversity and geosites of special interest.
