Special Chapters of Tapping and Sustainable Use of Fresh Water

Study program:
Hidrogeology (III semester -PhD)
Name of subject: Special Chapters of Tapping and Sustainable Use of Fresh Water
Instructors:
Prof. Vesna Ristić - Vakanjac, Prof. Dušan Polomčić, Prof. Dragoljub Bajić, Prof. Igor Jemcov, Prof. Vladimir Živanović, Dr Bojan Hajdin, Prof. Saša Milanović, Prof. Ljiljana Vasić, Dr Maja Todorović
Status: Optional
ECTS: 20
Prerequisites: -
Course Objectives:
The candidate should master the matter and acquire the appropriate knowledge in the field of groundwater exploration of the intergranular and karst type of aquifer
Learning Outcomes:
Mastering the methodology of exploration of groundwater of intergranular and karst type of aquifer or aquifer in different hydrogeological conditions
Content:

Theory teaching
Theoretical and Practical teaching within this course - the candidate will develop knowledge in the field of hydrogeology of a integranular type of aquifer issued in alluvial, lake and terrestrial sediments, as well as hydrogeology of karst as open hydrogeological structures. The problems of quaternary hydrogeology will be especially discussed in terms of the use of water for the water supply of major cities in Serbia, and special attention will be paid to terrains on which a karst type was formed in carbonate sediments, primarily Mesozoic age, which has a high distribution in Serbia and Southeast Europe (30%).
