Computing in Hydrogeology

Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to meet students with the software packages that are in the function of obtaining and displaying the results of geological explorations and narrower specialized programs in hydrogeology.
Learning Outcomes:
Training students to work in MS Excel and Corel Draw programs and their specific application in hydrogeology.
Content:

Theory teaching
Presentation of modern software packages and applications in hydrogeology. View the word processing program, tables, and presentations. View the database creation program. Display programs for making insulation and contour surfaces. Programs for vector and CAD drawing. Drawing programs. Basics ArcGis. Complex programs in the field of geology. Data-processing programs. Programs for modeling and visualizing results

Practical teaching
Exercises are followed by lectures. It works on the computer. For some of the programs shown there are also practical classes such as programs (MS Excel and CorelDraw)

Conduct of the Course:
The combination of oral exposure and PPS prepared presentations. Permanent check of knowledge from previous material. All teaching obligations end in hours, except for additional learning for the exam and preparation of the colloquium.
