Content:

Theory teaching
Introductory remarks, importance of preliminary grading of waste at the place of production for successful separation. Manual selection, Gravity concentration in communal waste recycling, Magnetic concentration in recycling of communal waste, Electric concentration in recycling, Flotation concentration in recycling, Leaching and recycling.

Practical teaching
Laboratory exercises are followed by all the above teaching units: crushing, screening, grinding, classification, coarse classes gravity concentration, small classes gravity concentration, gravity concentration of sludges, heavy media gravity concentration, dry magnetic concentration, wet magnetic concentration, thickening, filtering of the product.
