Prerequisites: The subject of the gas pipeline system and the compressor station from the previous year of study
Course Objectives:
The aim of the course is to acquiring knowledge about basic principles of natural gas distribution. Students learn about pipelines, valves, hydraulic calculation, networks distribution, standards in area of pipelines and gas distribution.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, students are able to independently dimension the gas distribution networks, to fully manage and manage the gas distribution process.
Content:

Theory teaching
Introduction, elements and devices of pipelines. Pipes, materials, standards, pipe manufacturing, corrosion. Calculation: pressure, safety factor, wall thickness.Flanges. Valves. Filters. Regulators. Tips of distribution networks. Calculation. Hydraulics calculation. Principles of design. Construction of gas pipeline, laying of pipes. Measuring-control stations, construction and selection and dimensioning.Home connectors and installations. Technical conditions for home connections. Standards for home connections.

Practical teaching
Calculation of wall thickness. Calculation of pressure. Networks calculation. Dimensioning of measuring and control stations. Calculation of home installations. These tasks students work through real examples of gasification of cities in Serbia. Students successively visit the lab.
