Course Objectives:
The basic goal of studying this course is acquiring basic knowledge and familiarization with the legal regulations in the field of environmental protection. Without acquiring these knowledge, it is not entirely possible to define engineers in the environmental study program. Getting acquainted with the new legislation in these two areas through the proposed program is necessary and enables the formation of a complete expert for this very important area.
Learning Outcomes:
In addition to operational practice related to practice, students are trained for design work and for scientific and research work in this field.
Content:

Theory teaching
The course is intended for students of Environmental Engineering. It deals with legal regulations in the field of environmental protection against mining activities. It consists of an introductory part, the aim and importance of environmental protection in mining, reviewing regulations in the field of environmental protection. This course deals with: International environmental agreements, General regulations, Environmental Protection Act, Nature Protection Laws, Laws in the field of environmental impact assessment, Law on Waste Management, Legislation in the field of the protection of air, water and land, noise protection, crash protection, ionization protection, non-ionizing radiation and nuclear safety and other related regulations.

Practical teaching
Visits to the environmental protection services of certain mining companies, determination of the procedure for the drafting and implementation of the impact assessment act, etc.
